CASE 04 — ongoing from 15.03.1981 — Hessdalen Valley, Norway — ⊗ RESTRICTED

Floating luminous objects. Documented by scientists. No explanation produced in 22 years of observation. The lights exhibit behavior inconsistent with atmospheric phenomena — they stop, reverse, accelerate to speeds exceeding any known aircraft, and in several documented instances appeared to respond to directed light signals from observers on the ground.

Spectral analysis revealed a sulfur and scandium signature. Neither element has any natural mechanism to produce sustained luminescence of this kind.

One researcher submitted a report in 1994 suggesting the lights follow a pattern consistent with 永恆的信號. The report was not published. He resigned the following year. His research notes have not been located.

The frequency of the light emissions, when measured against the observer's position, corresponds to 7.83 Hz. The researcher who noted this correlation was the one who resigned.
